I partly agree with the statement that subjects like arts, music, and drama are important in schools, but I do not think they are more important than other subjects such as science, math or languages. Every subject has its own value and purpose in a student’s life.

For instance, learning English helps in communication, and math is needed in banking, shopping, or any professional work. Giving more time only to creative subjects might affect the overall learning of important skills.
In my opinion, all subjects should be treated equally. Students should get enough time for both academic and creative subjects, depending on their interest and future goals. Schools should provide a balanced timetable so that every student can develop all-round skills.
