Some people say it is fair that successful sports professional can earn more money than people in other important professions, while others think it is unfair.
While, some people may think it is unjustified that sports player can earn a lot more money than others, but, I think, according to the information provided by agencies and companies says otherwise. Moreover, the hardship that most of the professional players underwent, can justify their salary.
Firstly, in my opinion, most professional players are not earning more, but their even underpaid compared to other industries. For instance, in the movie industry, actors and directors or even some managers are getting paid by a large amount compared to sports professionals, and when comparing the value offered by the person’s work and the money they received, you can clearly see, their payment is not fair and it is just based on their look or fame.
Secondly, almost all the professional players will go through hard training sessions and strict diets. For example, professional soccer players have one the hardest trainings. Not only they have to train in the field physically but they have to attend to multiple gym and cardio sessions in order to keep their body in shape. Additionally, beside working that hard, they have to avoid any kind of injuries, from a broken knee or arm to just a simple flu.
Overall, based on the reasons provided in the essay, I think the successful sports professional which earn a great deal more money than others, is completely justified and even can be less than what they deserve in some situations.
