Some sports professionals, who succeeded in sports fields, can earn a significant amount of money. While some people believe that it is justified, I agree with those who think it is unfair.
Successful sports people worked hard to reach the level where they now are. For example, G.G.Golovkin or a boxer known as triple G, could win several competitions beating the most renown boxers. His name is familiar almost for everyone around the world. His annual income is about $200 000; and followers believe that he deserves it. In one of his interviews, he showed his schedule fulled with trainings and competitions. By looking at his timetable, we can see that he has perseverance and commitment, which made him a worldwide known boxer. If he had not worked hard, he would not become successful. However, I do not think that it is enough to get that high income. There are numerous professions which contribute to the well-being of society, while sportsmen do not do to it at all.
On the other hand, there are some professions which require a strong sense of duty and commitment. Take, for example, doctors and teachers. They have a relatively low income compared to sports professionals. However, they really work hard to get their degrees and to bring something valuable to the society. While teachers try to educate the future generation to become responsible global citizens and great individuals, doctors fight with death and do everything to save lives of patients. These professionals tend to sacrifice their own happiness to the well-being of others. It is almost impossible to imagine our world without them. Therefore, this kind of professionals should be paid more than those who work in sports fields.
In conclusion, while others think that sports professionals’ high income is justified, I totally agree with those who think it is unfair; because there are other professionals who work hard for the well-being of society; therefore they should be paid more.
