The reason for pollution and environmental impacts are because the country is developing and when the country becomes richer. Several people think that these problems can not be solved. In my opinion, I agree fifty percent with the above statement.
Firstly, when the country becomes richer, they can develop and use the money to protect and improve the environment of the country. There are many developed countries that use the money for their environment and let it be less polluted. For example, in Australia the government would pay money for people who give plastic bottles to the machine for recycling. It helps the citizens to have the ideas of protecting the environment and throwing the trash in the right ways.
On the other hand, when the country becomes richer, the environment would be more polluted. The country when it is developed, there will be more factories and the waste that they throw out would be more. Some of the country will burn forests to build factories or houses for a place to live. For instance, people in the past burned the forest to build houses and buildings. It makes the forest and the eco-system get destroyed.
Finally, these problems can be avoided when the government and the citizens care about the environment. At that time, the citizens would be the ones who grow the trees. They would be whoever threw the trash in the right ways. The factories would try to save the environment more. Take an example, in Japan when everyone wants to make the environment more safe. Therefore, the environment would be more safe.
In conclusion, I half agree with the above statement because it depends on the people who live in the country and also the government at the same time. If the government cares about the environment, it would make fewer environmental impacts.
