Nowadays, there is a claim about education that all children should know to play at least one musical instrument. While having a good music foundation can bring children numerous essential skills and it also provides them many personalities which necessary for acadamy, I strongly agree with this statement.
On the one hand, it is clear that the process to be professionally at playing a musical instrument often cope with many diffirent skills. For example, to play piano, children need to learn to be patient and hard-working to play that instrument more skillful. Moreover, creating a successful song is not only depends on any individual but also requires the complex of many people. Hence, children also need to get a good social skill to get along with others. As a result, while children study about playing musical instruments, they will acquire several skills.
On the other hand, while children are taught to play musical instruments, they can get a good performance at school’s subjects as they achieve some personalities while learning about musical fields. For example, children will learn how to concentrate to their work, how to memory long songs while playing musics. In that case, they will get concentration which is required in Maths, or have a good memory which can necessary on History. Hence, children will achieve self- improvement in academic section.
In conclusion, I believe that children need to be taught how to play musical instruments since they provide them many skills, personalities and knowledge to improve themselves. If they can be better, they can also contribute to our societies.
