Increased urbanization has contributed to excessive consumption of unconventional sources of fuel which has impacted negatively on global environment. Although it is everyone’s responsibility to reduce the consumption of fossil fuel, I strongly believe that coordinated efforts by the world leader on restricting consumption by laying global policy will yield significant success.
The world is currently undergoing severe issue of global warming due to excessive carbon emission and failing to restrict greenhouse gases due to elevated utilization of unconventional fuel which is disturbing the complete eco-system of the mother earth. The impact of excessive consumption of unconventional fuels has changes the season patterns, melting of ice glaciers, expanding of dessert areas, excessive rains etc. The data says that the temperature of earth increases by 0.2 degree Celsius every year which alarming. While each country is responsible for reducing the consumption of fossil fuel, it is international community who should act immediately and work together to reduce the consumption of such fuel.
In order to control the consumption, an international task force can be formed at the global level who works as a team by collecting and analyzing data of consumption in different countries, suggesting alternative source of energy, and providing financial support to those country would help to restrict the usage of fuels which generates greenhouse gases. Furthermore, it is also every individual’s responsibility to do their part to lower the consumption of fuel such as use of public transportation, sharing car to travel to work and adapt electronic vehicle.
In conclusion, although every one of us is owning the task of reducing the consumption of gases responsible for pollution, it is need of an hour that world leaders to act fast to control the consumption of fossil fuel to restrict further damages to the environment.
