Moving into the 21st century, technology is increasing rapidly. Many adults think that it can have positive effects on teenagers, while others think that it can create negative impacts on people’s lives. This essay will examine both sides before presenting my own opinion in the following paragraphs with relevant reasons.
To begin with, nowadays technology plays an important role in people’s daily lives. Many professionals and students use it widely in their work and studies. Artificial intelligence, automation, and the internet of things provide a wide range of knowledge of different fields. For instance, students who are studying for a bachelor’s in computer applications can easily get good grades by learning from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok. Furthermore, it can become a boon, especially for those who live in a foreign country. They can connect with family members by doing video calls, voice calls, and emails.
On the other hand, numerous people are spending a large amount of time watching movies, listening to music, and playing video games with their cronies. As a result, they may suffer from various diseases such as eyestrain, headaches, and mental health issues. In addition, if individuals spend a less time to socialize, they may find it difficult to make their way in today’s modern world. For example, a person who is spending almost eight or ten hours watching entertainment content; they might suffer from illnesses such as back pain. They also lose their relationships with communities.
In conclusion, although technology allows us to work in smart ways and provides communication facilities, it often becomes harmful and breaks bonds with others. Therefore, in my opinion, a balanced approach can solve this issue in an easy way.
