The increasing use of technology among children has become a widely discussed topic. Some people claim that it can have a positive impact on teenagers while others believe it can be harmful for them. This essay will cover each side of the argument in turn. In spite the arguments against, it is my firm opinion that technology can be highly beneficial for high school students when it is used appropriately.
One major advantage of technology is that it allows high school students to access information more easily. They can find relevant material online much faster, and sharing resources becomes far more convenient. For example, with an electronic device connected to the internet, students can search for academic articles and gather useful material for their school assignments. In addition, using technology from an early age is beneficial as we grow in a digital world, where the new technologies show a steady upward trend.
On the other hand, one downside of technology is cyberbullying among young people, a form of bullying happened on social media platforms. This type of bullying is quite common among teenagers who spent a lot of time communicating via the internet. A large number of children report this type of bullying, which they say has a huge negative impact on their mental health. As a result, children often use technology wrong and ended up with bad consequences on their phycological health.
In conclusion, technology used by high school students is viewed differently by people. Even though it can become harmful for their lives as cyberbullying is a major problem on the internet, it can provide helpful data and welcome them to the future digital world. In my view, the right way of using technology and limitations can create a high experience for teenagers.
