It is argued that teenagers today experience excessive academic pressure at school. I strongly agree with this view because they have too many responsibilities related to schoolwork, which leaves them with less time for themselves.
The main reason why students experience academic pressure is the large number of projects they have to complete. When students want to achieve a high GPA or add new achievements to their portfolio, they often take on too many responsibilities. As a result, they may not have enough time to rest and relax. This can also be influenced by social media, which constantly encourages students to become successful and compete with their classmates. Consequently, teenagers may put too much pressure on themselves in order to be respected by teachers and peers.
The second reason why teenagers feel pressure at school is homework. Some teachers require students to complete more homework than is necessary and do not always consider how tired they may be after a long school day. In other words, students may have less time for their additional activities and personal interests. The problem is that teachers should understand that students cannot complete everything and revise all the material after a hard day. For example, if a student cannot manage their time properly, they may struggle to finish their homework. This can lead to misunderstandings between teachers and students and make teenagers feel even more stressed.
All in all, I strongly believe that teenagers experience too much academic pressure at school because of the large amount of schoolwork and homework. Therefore, students should have enough time to study, rest and take part in other activities.
