Besides the location, beautiful wildlife, and all the other geographical offerings of the University of Sydney. The school’s commitment to addressing and solving the world’s biggest problems is what truly drew me to apply. The emphasis on research and collaboration perfectly aligns with my future goal of becoming a civil engineer. In the future, through partnerships with other engineers, architects and innovators, I aim to help build and develop a better Africa with its own unique design and style, doing all this alongside sustainability.
Through my research, I’ve been inspired by how dedicated the University is to the world’s research and development. The resources and efforts dedicated to solving complex global issues are really fascinating.
Additionally, the multicultural environment at the university excites me, as someone who values the importance of listening and understanding different perspectives and the benefits of it fostering open mindedness and increasing creativity and innovation.
