According to the Times Higher Education University Ranking 2024, the University of Sydney is among Australia’s top 3 universities in education and a member of Group of Eight. These achievements indicate that the University of Sydney offers exceptional learning resources, including lectures, a conducive academic environment, and valuable networking opportunities.
Moreover, I read from the news and listened to colleagues’ testimonials that the University of Sydney brings inclusivity to students by allowing them to have the same opportunities regardless of their backgrounds. I also found that The University of Sydney embraces hidden disabilities. I appreciate the acknowledgment of this issue because it is significantly determined personally as a PCOS person. This support is essential and might be related to my postgraduate degree there. Therefore, this experience will strengthen my understanding of learning accessibility for all students.
Furthermore, I aspire to join the “Inclusive Professional Practice” course. This might help me see the framework of inclusivity in school and the community. This might fit with my goals, and I am confident that it will complement my aspirations and provide me with a new point of view while designing an effective curriculum for inclusive education in my country.
