Over the last decades when science progress had been developing leaps and bounds, society tried to enhance effectiveness and efficiency by reducing labour cost and substituting human work with machines and robots that conceived the new branch of developing artificial intelligence. By searching for the new technology, we spun off a new solution with comprehensive possibility of using it in many industries and domestics spots. Conceived in the height of developing software, AI has geared up to replace humans in many aspects of its life. It came into our life last year and sparked stir and grudge amidst part of us as we weren’t aware what risks it could bring us. The picture became clear after renowned companies showed us what AI adoption can be driving to. Amazon, Apple, SAP and many other prominent companies started laying off to level the company’s financial condition because the precarious predicament caused shares dropping in the exchange market.
Anyway, other industries followed suit of this process as they saw the benefits of applying and employing AI. Last year the cinema industry was rocked by striking of key industry job positions. Among them turned out prominent actors, writers, stuntmen and editors. Enormous mutiny had been rocked up where nobody knew how long it would last. By walking off the job the tons of movies were defer or grinded to halt due to cinema big boss and rebels couldn’t find common points and it only exacerbated and without it an intricate situation with losing tons of dollars every day.
The medical insurance, fixed working hours, expanded terms of the working contract and protection from lay off in case AI will enhance its skills and jeopardise human work licit rights. It turned out to be one of the sticking points which was difficult to overcome and both sides gearing up to a long showdown to wear and tear.
All these unforeseen acts shook up the global economy and forced hone in on the future fallouts of applying AI and how we are going to fill the voids created by AI. I mean what government program regulation should be in order to exclude irrevocable aftermath, which we scare and give a hope to humanity that their social rights will be stable and poverty trap will be staved off. Inherently AI must serve as a servant to us and give opportunities rather than threats and both AI and humanity must have a level playing field where government is in the driving seat and neither of the parties move the goalposts whatsoever.
It is necessary to keep the eyes on the ball, excluding situations of a one-horse race. I can foresee that showdown between AI and humankind may spin off one more player where this new one will play an extraordinary role and will aggregate the best quality of both existing players.
