Band 5+: The air we breathe has a major impact on our health and the environment. However, the air pollution is constantly growing and at current levels it can be fought only globally. That is to say, individual efforts to improve air quality will not give any results, and it's solely responsibility of our governments to reduce air pollution. Do you agree or disagree?

It is widely believed that the effort that people make to improve the air quality nowadays does not help in terms of improving, at the same time individuals think that the government is responsible to take this problem and fix it up. In my opinion, the government is not the only one responsible for this main trouble, everyone is involved in that situation, but also they can try to maintain as organized as they can, this could be crucial to be helpful for everybody.

People who live in urban areas at this time are considered to be the majority population that makes pollution grow little by little. Based on news, urban areas are actively more effective than rural areas in terms of contamination. Contaminating more than 25% compared to the rural areas where individuals do not have access to factories, trash reserves, and so on. What is more, this depends on the careers that people are getting this century. For example, at this time there are more engineers than biologists, or environmentalists. Now the government regrets telling society that they need to be more involved in these sorts of topics such as contamination.

On the other hand, the government should have tried an important amount of campaigns about how to avoid spending money on non recyclable things such as plastic bags, non eco-friendly paper towels, and others. Subsequently, adapt the method of fines for people who apport in the rise of pollution. Namely: smoking, public transport too many cars without a restriction, and so on. While society adopts this, it could be helpful in decreasing pollution at least 10% per year. The best example that could be provided is Australia. Fines there are quite expensive, because they do not want citizens to make pollution grow even more.

In conclusion, I am inclined to believe that if people and the government help each other, it will be the main way to improve pollution on earth. Hoping that the process takes less than two-decades. Human beings will do their lives as normal as they have done before.
