Childhood obesity has become a widespread problem in modern times. It is often argued that increasing the number of physical exercise in school is the best way to reduce obesity among children. I partly agree with this view, although proper nutrition also plays an essential role in the fight against obesity.
On the one hand, sport activities are known as the main method to keep the body fit that can helps children with overweight. This means that a lot of physical activity such as running, playing games, swimming can enhance children’s habits and promote weight loss. For example, children who regularly participate in outdoor sports tend to burn more calories and develop a more active lifestyle, which reduces the risk of obesity. As a result, they become healthier, more energetic and improves their quality of life
On the other hand, helthier diet is crusial for younger people. The reason for this is that good balance between proteins, fats and carbohydrates can develop muscles and decrease a chance to gain weight. For example, children who consume a lot of fast food and large amounts of sugar are likely to gain weight faster than children who prefer eat more vegetables and fruits. Therefore, maintaining a balanced and nutritious diet plays an essential role in preventing obesity and supporting overall health.
In conclusion, while increasing physical activity at school is an effective way to cope problems with childhood obesity, a balanced diet also plays an equally important role, and only a combination of both can lead to good health.
