Centuries ago the arts were a significant part of developed societies, especially in European and Asian countries. Many people argue that art, music and theatre are continuing to be important for modern people. I totally agree with this statement and think that arts still have a place amongst our modern lifestyles. In this essay, I will prove my opinion and explain why arts must be included in school curriculum.
Nowadays, art still attracts people as it was centuries ago. The main reason why art is still considerably important for societies is being a key to successful marketing. I mean, most companies attract people’s attention to their products by using unusual or bright designs of both products and packages. This shows that individuals are still interested in creativity and beauty. The second reason is that most people prefer to spend their free time going to the theaters, visiting various exhibitions or learning traditional arts. To illustrate, a high percentage of males and females claim that arts such as music, scenery, and drawing help them to change focus from tiring work.
I believe that the arts should be included in the school curriculum for several important reasons. The first reason is that art can develop children’s creativity and help them express themselves. By taking part in activities such as drawing, painting and music, students can use their imagination and learn how to communicate their feelings in a creative way. The second reason is that studying the arts can help students develop useful skills for their future. For example, artistic activities require patience, concentration and problem-solving skills. Moreover, some students may have stronger abilities in creative subjects than in traditional academic subjects, so art classes can help them discover and develop their talents.
In conclusion, despite the fact that many people follow very busy lifestyle, I think art remains an important part of people’s lives and must be included in school schedules. The highlight reasons are developing creativity and positive influence on brain work. Moreover, many men and women use arts for relaxation and encouragement.
