The average health level of people in the future may be lower than it is today. I completely disagree with this belief because the use of technology is becoming increasingly popular.
Firstly, technology has vast potential to positively impact and transform people’s lives in numerous ways, particularly in healthcare. Nowadays, the health industry is more inclined to rely on technology rather than human intervention due to its high accuracy. The process of diagnosing diseases has become much faster thanks to these advancements. For example, individuals suffering from rare illnesses are finding relief with the help of technology. As a result, the number of patients is expected to decline dramatically in the future.
However, the impact of technology may also lead to a more unhealthy lifestyle. Excessive use of technology can result in addiction, causing individuals to neglect their physical wellbeing. This could lead to issues such as poor eyesight, obesity, and other health problems. Additionally, the widespread availability of technology can facilitate the spread of misinformation about diseases and treatments on social media platforms, which is a concern we often see today.
In conclusion, although there are many factors that could contribute to a decline in the overall health of the population, I believe that the benefits of technology will ultimately outweigh the negative consequences of unhealthy lifestyles. Therefore, I am confident that the average standard of health will improve in the future.
