It is argued that if the administration applies a free for buses and trains in everyday, traffic jam can be easily solved. This purpose of this essay is to explain why I total disagree with this viewpoint.
I belive that there are have a lot of reason why people often chose private car instead of public transporta. The major reason is that many people feel comfortabl and convenient when they use their own car to move. One way of explaining this is that people are free to use their car whenever they want, while they have to be on time if not wanting to miss a bus or train; moreover; sitting in theri own car and listening to their favourtie songs is much more comfortable than sitting on a crowded car. Therefore, I think that providing free public transport 24/7 would not help solve the problem of traffic.
In addition, I personally belive that root cause of traffic congestion is bed drving habits by numerous citizents. For instance, in Vietnam, many people have the habit of running red lights even though the light has turned yellow to slow them dow; therefore; in order to properly solve traffic congestion, it is necessary to increase public awarness about the dangers of aggressive driving which contribute to traffic congestion. When everyone is fully aware of this, they would drive carefully, which can not only helps tackle traffic jams but also improved road safety.
In conclusion, I belive that although the goverment use free cost for public transport, most citizents will not use them because of comfort and convenience that private cars bring. Therefore, the best way to slove the problem of traffic congestion is imporving awarness of the dangers they receive when they participate in traffic in an aggressive manner.
