The bar chart gives information about the percentages of people from London, Oxford, and Cambridge cities preferred four different houses in Grade Britain in the year 2005.
It is clear that flats were the most popular type of houses in London, while the lowest proportion of Londoners liked detached houses in the given time. However, detached houses in Cambridge received the majority of citizens at the same time in this country.
In terms of choosing houses, around 58% of residents lived in the flats, which was the highest portion in 2005, compared to those, who belonged from detached houses in this year in London. Moreover, the percentage of people in Oxford, who were in flats, was higher than those in Cambridge, with 28% and 20%, respectively in the time frame of 2005. In terraced homes, the proportion of all cities’ people was under 20% in the UK.
For the remaining types of accommodation, there was no difference of the proportion of population who chosed semi-detached houses between Oxford and Cambridge, at approximately 37% in 2005, on the contrary, the proportion was 10% less in London than them, was 17% during this time. By contrast, the greatest priority was given by Cambridge people to detached houses in the year, with 35%.
