The below graph depicts five major cities of Australia where tea and coffee buying and consumption are discussed and compared among citizens from respective cities. Looking at the bar graph, we can see that Melbourne has a population that prefers coffee to tea at a cafe in a period of 4 weeks; whereas Hobart has the most instant coffee buyers in comparison to all cities. Sydney is the largest consumer of fresh coffee.
To begin with, regarding fresh coffee users, Sydney has 44%; Melbourne has approximately 42%; Brisbane and Adelaide are at the same level of 34%; and Hobart has 38% of users. Moving towards instant coffee preference and statistics, Sydney has 45%; Melbourne has 48%; Adelaide has 50%; and lastly, Brisbane and Hobart are at similar levels, ranging between 52% and 55%.
Moreover, a large number of people prefer to buy coffee or tea at a cafe. In comparison, we can see that Melbourne is at the top with 63% of people; followed by Sydney and Hobart with approximately the same percentage of 60–65%; Brisbane is not far behind with 55%; and Adelaide is near 50%.
