The highest number of graduates, accounting for 29,665 from the United Kingdom, opted to study further in 2008, while 3,500 of the graduated learners went to do voluntary jobs rather than doing full-time paid work. Whereas, 17,735 of the students found their destinations in part-time roles, and the unemployment rate of graduates from the UK remained around 16,235 after completing their studies from college in 2008.
The number of postgraduate students who went to continue their studies is recorded as 2,725, and the number of postgraduates who got the opportunity to do work on a part-time basis was 210 less than those who went for further studies. On the other hand, 345 of the postgraduate students went for voluntary jobs, and around 1,625 students remained unemployed.
