It is undoubtedly the case in USA that level of pollution is comparatively high in cities than the villages. There are variety of reasons that lead to this problems and various measures could be taken by the government and individuals to improve this situation. This essay will shed light on the reasons and solutions will be discussed as well.
There are variety of different factors that have led to more pollution in cities. one major cause of that is excessive use of vehicles in cities than villages. People in cities prefer to use cars to reach at their destination on time. Some families even have two or three cars for every member to use which makes it more worse as the fuels used in cars make the air pollute. The second reason is less plantation in cities. Due to accommodation and buildings their are less plants in the cities which adds one more reason for pollution.
Despite some obvious reasons described above, there are several actions that government could possibly take to solve the problems. Firstly, a simple solution would be to increase plantation in cities. Villages already have a lot of plants that helps to keep the air clean however, cities don’t have that. But increased plantation will play very important role in decreasing the pollution. The measure would be taken by the government is to guide the individuals to use more public transport and less use of cars. To make this happen, government should make the transit more accessible to everyone.
