From the time of industrialization, it is being observed that to finish a task a resource is required. This leads in over utilization of these natural resources which is a threat to human life.
There are many reasons which results in over utilization of the resources, for development, advancement and the main reason is the increase of human population and a rise in their needs. This results in depletion of many resources that are once abundant. This not only has a negative impact on human life but also is dangerous for the atmosphere. Another problem is the increase in earths temperature, and ozone layer depletion. Which are primarily caused by the release of harmful gases into the atmosphere, and deforestation which cuts the supply of oxygen and the increase in the carbon levels which is harmful for the life on earth. An example of these side effects is the rising sea levels due to melting of ice glaciers.
To overcome these problems, it is in our hands to mitigate the potential dangers. We have to plant more trees and increase the area of forests to reduce the carbon stock from the nature, for each tree that is being cut down one should plant more trees. Another solution is to use renewable resources which are available for longer extent and are not easily exhausted. For an instance, people started using solar panels to use the energy from the sun and depend less on natural resources.
To conclude, the main cause of the consumption of the natural resources are humans and their activities for their personal use and the solution for this is also we humans who can use the alternate sources and rely on them for the advancement in day-to-day life.
