The fast fashion impacts water, air, forests, animal pollution and population disparity. I totally agree with this statement, because shops, such as Zara, H&M, and Shein provide their employees unpleasant working hours, places where they live and do jobs and these shops distribute toxic fabrics and smoke from their factories.
Fast fashion is not about new and modern clothes, it is about staff, who work more than 72 hours per week without weekends, smell all toxins and trash, live in the small rooms and do it just for consumers who want to buy cheaper and faster. In my opinion, the government should close all these industries and pay damages for everyone who works in these unhumanity conditions. Social inequality consists in the fact that workers who want to feed their families, have money to live and eat, have a lot of problems with physical and mental health. All machines make these clothes with a large amount of gases, benzols and poisons. People who touch it, smell it and have to deal with these fabrics can get a concern or heart attack, because their body cannot withstand the stress there.
Directors of Shein, Zara or H&M don’t pay attention that their business degrades the natural environment around them. Deforestation is the first step in the nature genocide. All life beings exist through the air that is provided by trees. When employees cut down forests a lot of animals die, because humans killed their homes. I feel, people who harm the environment should be responsible for their actions. Overall, it is also a consumer problem, because they continue to buy clothes from fast fashion, but we live in the technological world and can find a lot of information about these industries and how they impact all the Earth. Customers still overuse and overbuy all this stuff. I think this is also their fault, they made it with nature by their own hands. We can control industries, moreover if there is no demand, then there will be no offers.
To conclude, fast fashion has a negative impact on our Earth. It pollutes the planet faster than we can imagine. We should stop buying products for giving workers and environment freedom.
