Band 4+: The growth of multinational companies and the resulting of the globalization creates positive effects for all. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

It is a common belief that the growth of multinational bussinesses and the rise of globalization creates numerous benefits for every individual. In my view, this phenomenon has created positive effects in people’s lives, nowadays. Nevertheless, there are several detrimental consequences.

In this day and age, the debate about this phenomenon has sparked intense discussions. People believe that that the rise of multinational brends is caused by new discovery and contemporary consumerism. In this view, one key role is played by new technologies, such as smartphones and laptops. Furthermore every company which use the internet as a privotal resource. Indeed, the web is one of the main tools which has enhanced people’s lifestyle. For instance, thanks to great international companies which are connected with networkcommunication people can communicate without any type of obstacle. Nowadays a foreing student in Japan can call or videocall his mother or peers with a smartphone and an internet connection. Not only is this possible, but there also is a plethora of usage, such as the telecommuting.

On the other hand, this constant connectivity and rush of consumerism have created detrimental effects. Recent research has shown that more and more people suffer of several mental diseases caused by the pressure of globalzated society. New technologies has sparked the fever of consumerism. Consequently, more and more people spend their income and salary with new technologies transcuring their other necessity. Moreover, the addiction of internet caused by mutinational companies investment has deleterious consequence. For the OMS, internet addiction represent a significative disease. In this view experts recommended to people to change their approach with this new technologies.

Overall, although new techlogies and multinational rise enhanced people’s lifestyle, there are several deleterious aspect which need more interest by people because of their deleterious effects on individuals’ well-being.
