The debate over whether the growing of online shopping will demolish traditional shopping is not yet finished. While some people believe that this phenomenon will continue until there is no longer shops in towns, I completely disagree with this view. I believe that shops in cities will continue to exist.
The primary reason why I think that these shops will not get affected by online shopping is that there are many believe it can provide a valuable shopping experience. This is because they give people a chance to choose the right option for them as they physically attend and see the materials of what they are buying. For example, going to these shops to buy clothes, buyers can opt their suitable colors and sizes and accurately choose what fits them. In contrast, online shopping cannot match this trait. When individuals try to buy something online, usually the item comes with different sizes or colors. For this reason, I believe traditional shopping will still exist because people find them more enjoyable experience and find fulfillment through their shopping.
Another vital point is, by going to these shops physically, people feel themselves actually interact with others and have sense of belonging, as they really communicate with others. This is due to the fact that going to these places demand movement, and as they move, it is beneficial for their mental health. For instance, many studies show that going for shopping and walk through all stores walking can increase the feel of fulfillment and satisfaction. As the body moves, the brain generates more enjoyable memories, lasting in human memory, a thing that online shopping does not have.
In conclusion, although online shopping can be beneficial for some people, especially those who have tight schedules, and with significant growing in this industry, I firmly believe that all physical job markets will remain valid as it can provide far more satisfaction through shopping, experience, and superior healthy communications.
