In the rapid pace of contemporary epoch, the modern issue of overindulgence of people engaging in more e-shopping instead of visiting the local stores is intricately interlaced. This melancholy trend can be imputed to the fact that there is high incidence of online purchases. This essay will enlighten views on how online purchasing captures the global market which leads to an end of nearby shops. I fully support this notion.

To begin with advantages of vast growth of online shopping keeps on deteriorating the local stores in the vicinity. Firstly, usage of e-purchasing for daily use groceries are increasing at fast pace which impacts on degradation of local shops. For instance, people are more engaged in the mobile applications such as blinkit, zepto, big basket etc as they provide connivence of just one click away, rapid delivery and myriad no. of choices. Secondly, they also give umpteen no. of special discounts and offers on certain groceries product in order to attract customers. For example, few websites provide gift hampers on big occasions to engage their buyers.

However, the rapid growth of online buying has drastically destroying the local vendors and hinders their finances.

In addition, on one hand, consumers are doing product evaluation before purchasing which leads to less chances of return and exchange of the product. To illustrate, if an individual wants to buy a protein powder, they can see the nutritional value of the consumer goods previously and can compare that product with different competitors product. Moreover, on the other hand, there is a primary advantage of flexibility of payment options such as Cash on delivery, Credit Card, UPI etc. For instance, buyers are eagerly engaged in online payment options as they give them the option of a good One click away only. Therefore, with increasing rate of technology, more and more public are considering online shopping as first option of buying.

To conclude the swift pace of contemporary world, online shopping is no doubt an imminent choice of purchasing. However, the growth of online sector has drastically increases the sustainable market which leads to closure of local shops.
