While the Internet makes it possible for us to be connected with each other it also isolates us and leads to people being less socialized. I support the idea that the Internet is a convenient way to communicate as it gives us an opportunity to talk at a distance.
The Internet allows us to communicate in far ranges, and makes our lives easier. In modern times, there are multiple sources for us to stay connected with each other with devices like phones and laptops and using any of numerous messengers such as WhatApp, Instagram or Telegram. Usage of these applications removes the barrier of distances, as it makes it possible to stay connected from any part of the world.
I also disagree with the fact that the Internet isolates and makes us less socialized because the Internet, conversely, gives an opportunity to talk more. For instance, without an online network we had to go out in order to meet and talk with friends or acquaintances, but online we can do it anytime we want using any of the messengers. Additionally, with social media, some individuals may become even more socialized because they can talk with anyone, regardless of physical distance or time constraints, and can join communities or groups that align with their interests, further enhancing their social connections.
