Nowadays students have more opportunities to study in foreign countries. This development has advantages: people can have an international experience and get to know another culture; but this also has disadvantages like missing their family and friends and having difficulties with adaptation in new conditions. This essay will discuss both: the drawbacks and the benefits.

Students, who do a university degree, now have a chance to do it abroad. This development has its advantages, for instance, to have an international experience. It can help people in their future career, because they are hard workers as entering a foreign university is harder than entering a university in their home country, and they probably have to learn a new language to study there. These students can also get to know a new culture and a new way of learning, because it is differs in countries. In other words, they are having new experience which can improve their learning and social skills.

On the other hand, study abroad has its disadvantages. When students move to another country for education, they have to leave their friends and family in their own country. Some people can struggle with missing the people they know, so it can lead to loneliness and anxiety, therefore, these feelings could disrupt the education process. It can be difficult to get used to new conditions and rules in a new country as well. For example, some students can face an unfamiliar way of learning and this can be hard for them to adapt to it, so they can just lose motivation to study at all.

In conclusion, studying abroad has its benefits and drawbacks. People can enjoy new culture, making international friends and collect new experience, but they can also struggle with missing their family and adaptation to new conditions.
