In today’s society, digital books are widely utilized in classrooms. Some people believe that internet could create convenience useful materials rather than traditional course books. Others argue that practical books will be irreplaceable as of its effective sources. Therefore, I agree that there will always be a place for a course book in school’s curriculum, despite of the benefits of internet.
One compelling reason is that most of course books are established by pedagogical experts who have numerous experiences in teaching and knowledge. This means that some of topics created by them would be proven to enhance pupil’s critical thinking skills and progression in study. The requirements of what methods to use and what strategy to apply in study came from practical books is more reliable than digital one. The reason is that before publishing, mostly did conventional books base on the students requirements which could boost the productivity skills. Thus, it has undeniable sources which has been successfully applied in today’ classroom.
On the other hand, internet plays a crucial role in many ways. As the technology advancement, more and more materials such as computer, tablet, and laptops replace books in schools. Not only could it easily absorbs information through internet but also assist in problem solving when it comes to math. Moreover, having numerous sources in one device with the help of internet, dozen of data may studies grab that is related to the subject.
To conclude, although internet have many advantages in information collection, it still are not able to replace the traditional course book especially in data accuracy and information correction. Hence, books would remain as its original requirement one as my perspective.
