There is a growing public opinion that, although older people are chiefs in companies today, younger people are able to become better leaders. I somewhat agree with this notion because younger bosses understand modern requirements and they create good relationships with their employees; however, young leaders are not good at decision-making.
The main reason why I believe younger people can be good leaders is their awareness of the demands of the contemporary world. This is due to the fact that they follow daily innovations at the other organizations. As well as this, to foster an organization, young leaders know technological software that is related to their field of work, and use them effectively. As a result, they will be able to strengthen the economy of the company to match the modern world.
Furthermore, younger chiefs build good relationships with their employees. This is because younger bosses are enthusiastic and energetic to carry out their duties and they want to instill this desire in their workers. In addition to this, young leaders want to create an enjoyable working environment and therefore they foster teamwork within the organization to achieve a common goal. For instance, Steve Jobs once mentioned the importance of teamwork with this quote: “Great things in the business are never done by one person. They are done by a team of people.”
Nevertheless, younger bosses sometimes lack the ability of decision-making. The main reason for this belief is the fact that they have less experience in the working sphere. As a consequence, sometimes young chiefs abdicate the responsibility for taking a risk in their project.
In conclusion, although young leaders are unable to make decisions, I believe that they are aware of modern world needs and can build strong relationships inside the organization.
