Based on the expressed statement above, I somewhat agree about advertising plays a role for driving a high sale of consumer goods. As you can see that many companies or individuals that distribute their product leverage any communication channel that viable today to interact with the potential customers. Even their algorithms and layouts have been maximised to incorporate advertisement placement for clients to enhance ad visibility.
Advertisement is a best way to create a seizable brand awareness and lead them to buy their products. Every sales from customer has a customer journey that processed every touchpoints that user navigate from identify the products until they buy it, it can be explained on frameworks such as AIDA (Aware, Interest, Desire, Acquire) and many more. Advertisement is a great way for brand to present themselves to the masses and lead them to acquire the products, but it solely not an easy process.
Before the companies sell their consumer goods, they need to know that not every goods that advertised, either paid ads or organic, can lead them to higher sales. There are many factors that need to be considered including product quality, product segmentation, and product packaging. Many marketers would fail if they don’t recognize any of that and integrate them to their advertising strategy.
Advertising can be a weapon for achieving sales, but it would need a deeper understanding from brands or companies to do so. Otherwise, their effort to set ad on numerous channel would bound to fail.
