It is true that the amount of vehicles are emerging in many cosmopolitan cities. This trend might lead to some problems, however, with proper steps it can be easily tackled.
There are three problems arising from increasing car numbers. Firstly, traffic congestion can be observed, which leads to frustration among passengers and drivers in streets. Secondly, this change means that the more cars in streets, the more pollution there are. In other words, transport means release gases and carbon dioxide, which are likely the main reasons of serious health issues like heart attack and lung cancer. Finally, parking spaces may lack. To explain, employees should leave their cars outside of their workplaces, which is parking areas. If there is no place left, drivers will use these allowed areas in order to stay vehicles.
Nevertheless, some actions can handle the process of rising car quantities. It starts with improving public transportations. If there is availability of using public transport means, such as buses, trains, people might utilize, as they are not as expensive as taxi and private one. Moreover, the authority has to encourage bicycles in society. Bikes are the most eco-friendly transport because harmful gases are not released. Furthermore, in order to reduce areas filled with cars, it is suggested to apply fees for crossing busy streets. As a result, drivers are likely to find other ways getting their destinations.
To conclude, car numbers will rise in cosmopolitan areas, causing traffic jams, air pollution and public shortages until the government tries to address by actions, for example, encourage public transport and bikes or implementing congestion charges.
