The map illustrates changes in the layout of Porth Harbour currently, compared to the year 2000.
Overall, the port has undergone considerable developments over the years. Certain facilities have been replaced by new ones. Construction of additional buildings like cafes and shops can also be seen.
Presently, an additional dock has been built adjacent to the existing one, slightly towards the north eastern side of fishing boats which was previously the space for marina private yachts. The public beach, the building for toilet and showers to the northwest corner of the harbour and the car park remain as it is.
While the car park in the southwest of the harbour remains the same, a change in the entrance can be seen, which is now from the main road. As the fishing boat has been shifted to the north, the place has now been taken up by Marina, accommodating more private yachts. In addition, a building for cafe and shops has been constructed to the west of Lifeboat. Lastly the castle is renovated into a hotel, giving access to the private beach.
