The maps illustrate some changes that were made to the ground floor of a museum from 1990 to 2010.

It is clear that seven significant alterations were made to the ground floor of the museum. They began with the relocation of the statue and ended with two new parts.

Looking at the maps in more detail, in 1990 there was a statue on the north side near the statue. Within 20 years, the position of the statue was changed, and it was moved to the center of the museum. In 1990, there was a small gift shop on the north side in the top corner. 20 years later, the gift shop became bigger, and a new cafe was attached to it. There was no lift available in the 1990s, but over a period 20 years, an elevator added to the ground floor of the museum.

The two maps also show that changes were made to the main entrance of the museum ground floor. In 1990, main entrance was too small ,so that in 2010, the original entrance was no longer there it became bigger than before. The reception counter was adjacent to museum office.20 years later, it separated them. However, Archeology Gallery was a large section in 1990. Over 20 years, this room was replaced by portions: a Children’s interactive zone and a poster display area.
