In contrast, children spent the least on food, which made up 10% of their income. Both boys and girls spent their money under 11%. In the case of music, it can be seen that children spent the most at 39%. The difference between girls and boys was only 2%. Regarding adults, they spent around 8 times less than children in this category, with 5% for each gender.
Regarding electronic equipment, adults spent a small fraction of their income in this category (5%), and it can be noted that men spend exactly a tenth of their income, which is nine times higher than women. On the other hand, children spent almost a quarter of their income in this category (23%), with 18% for boys and 5% for girls. When it comes to videos, adults spend the least, at exactly 1%. However, children spend 12% of their income here.
