Band 5+: The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) raises concerns about its potential impact on employment. What problems might arise from the widespread adoption of AI in the workforce, and what measures can governments and individuals take to mitigate these challenges?

Humans is thought to be replaced by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their occupations by automating their tasks in the near future. This phenomenon may creates some challenges for society and therefore people along with the governments need to prepare some mitigations to tackle the drawbacks.

In the first place, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is actually an innitiative made by humans to help people and creates a lot of benefits. The technology will help humans in their repetitive works so that people can be more focused in other important tasks that need decisions and logical thinking. Although, as this technology developed and becoming more advanced over time, humans started to become more drawn in the convenience that AI provided and pass through all their task to AI. While this may seem fine and beneficial, it surely creates some drawbacks. People started to use their judgments less and depend on AI a lot. This may lead to lazyness and less creativity. If not tackled well, it is true that the technology will soon replaced humans.

Some mitigations that can be done by people is first, they need to understand that AI is a tool, that still needs to be controlled by humans. While AI may do many tasks, along the process done, it still needs human expertise. Therefore, trainings and self development is a must so that people can do more and more advanced work ahead. Governments also needs to create some rules to limit the used of AI. They need to clearly define that for crucial tasks and segments, humans expertise are still needed and may not be done by AI.
