The restoration of old buildings in major cities in the world costs numerous government’s expenditure. This money should be used in new housing and road development.
However, I do not really agree with this statement. In my opinion it is very important to keep your culture and do not let your history to go away.
Firstly, people should be more grateful for the legacy that they are allowed to keep. They should respect their ancestors and praise every single thing that is left too. Because it is they who built this country and I think it is pretty much a good thing to keep their work up to date.
Secondly, I may agree that new housing and road development should be done, but that is why we got a separate budget for it! There is an own budget which is made to build roads and new houses. Moreover it is a good thing to keep another one for supporting the legacy.
In conclusion, it is really great if you are able too keep your history and there are not so many way to do it besides mentioned one. Also people should respect government for making it and allow them to have a look in past.
