Air pollution leads to major breathing problems like asthma. Another problem is company producing clothes not following labor law. Majority of the workers are underpaid, even working extra hours there is no overtime money. This problem has led industralist to be more bold, as workers don’t raise their voice either for mistreatment or being less credited monthly. Moreover, due to working extra hours they suffer from indigestion, stomach problems, etc which directly impact country as a whole.
To solve this problem, Government can make strict regulations for industries to develop in very remote areas with sustainable equipment. This will help decreasing the air pollution. For promotion of more sustainable and ethical clothing consumption, government can fund the tool and technology required. Additionally, government should initiate various awareness programs in various regions of nation, which ultimately makes people aware of labor law and how harmful emissions can industry generate. Fines should be introduced to all industries which are not following labor law. Additionally after workers are aware of labor laws, overtime law, then they can themself make protest in front of industry management.
In conclusion, rising popularity of fast clothing has led to some major problems like pollution, health issues in employee because of overtime work. Solution for these problem include strict regulation and penalties from government.
