Band 5+: The role of technology in education: is it beneficial or detrimental?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

People’s opinions differ as to whether or not the role of technology is beneficial for education whilst it exists a few strong arguments against technology is handy. I still ponder that technology plays a significant role.

There are several reasons why people might argue that technology is detrimental. First of all, there is evidence to support the idea that social network, technology and robots are enhancing day-by-day intensively over the world. Therefore, some individuals constitute that this affects education terribly. They argue that children might utilize the social network, technology excessively. On the grounds that teenagers understand and utilize renowned apps as well as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. They watch videos or reels in these apps and they throw their precious time around. Secondly, numerous individuals would agree that technology might replace teachers. As scientists and experts create brilliant robots and some robots teach children themes in the lessons. Afterwards, youth

might be ignorant due to robots. Since robots know all pupils in the same education level. Therefore, some kids are not able to understand that robots teach themesor lessons. In spite of the above arguments, I support the view that the role of technology is effective. The main benefit of digital technology is that technology assists to enhance skillls. For instance, learners may find for themselves things as well as videos, theories and translation of words. Additionally, kids study in distance learning as there are numerous lesson videos in technology such as laptop, pc, phone and computer. In my humble opinion, it is fundamental that modern digital technology is obliged to be utilizedin education. Provided that pupil is suddenly sick, he or she might call teacher and he or she may understand lessons and themes with his or her classmates at the same time.

To sum up, technology certainly has its drawbacks, but I constitute that the benefits outweigh them in the long term.

Write a persuasive essay on whether grades can represent ability. Use evidence and logical reasoning to support your argument.

To begin with, I am unconvinced that grades can completely encapsulate an individual’s true capabilities. There are many other critical abilities that cannot be precisely quantified through traditional exams, such as creativity, communication, […]
