My visions are to be a productive teacher, warm caregiver and facilitator to all my learners and colleagues around me for the sake of development in teaching strategies, technology, classroom management and good listener in each and every day, furthermore, to promote learners’ engagement, collaboration, achievement, humanity and disciplined.
A productive teacher could utilize the time, skills and resources to bring achievable learning outcomes and provide a positive effect on their learners and school community. Aiming myself to be a productive teacher, I am going to set the short-term and long-term goals like within six months, I will have attended three teacher training courses; I will have allowed my students critical and creative thinking through group and individual project-based learning; I will have delivered the lesson students to meet all learners’ types; furthermore, I will prioritize the tasks to be more effective in time management. In addition to, to meet the demand with current situation, I will integrate with technology in the classroom like assignment through google form or Kahoot to evaluate the cognitive level and for interactive learning. Moreover, I will evaluate myself how much I have worked well and in what areas I need to improve by reflecting and surveying on my actions and process. This reflection will provide the positive advice to me.
In conducting a warm caregiver and facilitator to my students, I will foster a safe and enjoyable classroom where students will learn the lesson without any fear and be provided constructive feedback with empathy rather than leading the teaching by only teacher. If learners learn by themselves and get helps from teacher if only needed, they become independent in learning. Plus, I will be warm and facilitate to my colleagues by building positive and strong relationships by being active listener and showing empathy, by providing the constructive advice and support if they asked for, as well as, by showing appreciation for their contribution. I would also share my colleagues the use of technology in education; I will demonstrate how to integrate technological tools like near pod, discussion board or Quiz for interactive teaching and assess the achievement of teaching. To enhance the classroom management, we will meet at least one time a week to share the experience and consider the possible approach like providing either positive or negative reinforcement, methods to overcome disruptive behaviours. I aim myself to be a productive teacher, warm caregiver and facilitator to all my learners and colleagues around me for the sake of development in teaching strategies, technology, classroom management and good listener in each and every day, furthermore, to promote learners’ engagement, collaboration, achievement, humanity and disciplined.
If I want students’ engagement and collaboration in the classroom, I will integrate teaching methods with technology, connect with real life environment, and utilize interactive teaching methods like game-based, play-based, project- based, service-based learning. To promote humanity and discipline, I will demonstrate valuing and empathy to students’ feelings and opinions, and encourage saying gratitude to people around them. Moreover, I will establish routines and declare since the first day of school, reinforce with positive and negative rewards and address misbehaviours if appeared.
I will work on my vision with these steps in order to achieve all the statement.
