Some claim that it would be an appropriate approach to not charge students for their education in university. From my point of view, I completely disagree with this statement, because universities being free would not be beneficial for the development of study level.
First, the annual money that is paid by students to university is not helpful not only for staff, but also for the further progress based on university equipments, the quality of education and other facilities that are located inside or on campus of university. For example, by helping of great income, department of university can bring more modern or well-developed devices that used in physics or chemistry laboratories, in addition more crafted professors who are able to work with this innovative apparatus. Furthermore, the size of the canteen, swimming pool, and gym area can be enlarged and more suitable tariffs may be presented for the memberships plans for the betterment of the people of university.
Second, nowadays, it would be unwise to deny that the annual fees of university define the prestige of university on a glo bal scale. For instance, should we try to compare one of the top universites with some lower ranked universities, we will feel the huge difference between those based on various criterias. However, as soon as the vast variance between these facilities will disappear, it is provided that we attempt to remove yearly payment. As result, it will confuse the students’ thoughts to apply universites for their bachelor, master or PhD degrees that will be finished in undesired issues.
In conclusion, I believe that universities being free is not a proper action due to its merits that avert well-being of students and evaluation of university itself.
