People are using social networking in the world more and more these days. They communicate with others online more than face to face. Some people argue that social networking affects people’s relationships. But does it just has negative effects or some positive ones?
In my opinion, social media is a necessary part of our technological era. It brings many advantages and makes our lives more convenient. There are a lot of people who are scared to talk with others face to face but can communicate by sending messages or making a call. Social media can help them very well in making new friends. When you talk directly, sometimes you’re too happy or excited, and you’ll say something that others don’t like. However, you can think before sending a message to someone to prevent annoying them.
On the other hand, social media also has many disadvantages if you use it in the wrong ways. At present, a lot of people abuse social media to communicate, so they feel too lazy to go outside to meet others. That impacts the relationships and development of society. Some people don’t have free time to read or reply the messages and sometimes forget to check their mailbox. Others will think we don’t like them or feel disrespect for them.
In my view, communicating through social networking can bring many benefits for us, but we should use it in the best way possible. It’s indispensable in this century. It helps us make friends and communicate remotely. In general, it has more positive effects than negative ones.
