Technology has given uncountable benefits to the man kind. Internet is one of them, which provides liberty (freedom) to the folks to study or be operational from their places rather than going out. In my views the merits of this are more as compared to the demerits which will be enunciated (discussed) in the impending paragraphs.
To commence with, why it is fruitful for the people to be functional from their abodes (homes) instead of going to educational institutes and offices? Firstly, people can obtain work and personal life balance with this approach. To make it more precise, when individuals perform their tasks from their homes they can devote (give) equal time to their jobs and families, by this not only their productivity enhances but also their relationship becomes stronger with their menages (family members). In continuation, work from home is also a benison for the those who are differently abled. To explain it, earlier some physically challenged folks had to try really hard for getting respectable jobs, however after the advent (start) of internet now they are able to do good jobs while sitting at their houses and earn handsomely. To cite an example, during coving 19, when everything was shut, with the help of the internet workers were able to do their work while relaxing at their shelters. Hence, internet is a tool which can boost productivity of everyone.
In addition to this, this practice is also rewarding for the environment. To be more accurate, many learners and workers have to commute daily to their respective places by different transports which eventually cause lot of pollution. Therefore, if they are at their houses this would mitigate the pollution level and also save their time of travelling. On the contrary, the major drawback is that this trend is making people anti-social. To articulate (express) more, because for this practice masses have to be at their places do not have to do much interaction with others. Owing to this, they are gradually becoming introvert and under confident. For instance, numerous employees became lethargic after working from their homes for a certain period, revealed by an eminent magazine recently. Thus, internet to some extent reducing face to face communication.
To recapitulate, although technology has brought immense number of things to make life easier, yet its downsides such as making people self-centred cannot be overlooked. However, I think it is more advantageous for everyone to work from their places.
