The usage of oil as the most common source of energy is becoming less actual because of global warming. This essay provides an idea that electricity may be able to raplace oil and proves it with some facts.
To begin with, electricity has a promising future in the sphere of energy. It is already used in transport and heating sysytems. For instance, the majority of busses in Moscow were replaced by electrobusses during the last 2 years. The machines became more silent and the amount of toxic wastes was reduced. As for heat, electricity is used to activate engines that pump hot water through the pipes hidden behind the walls of a house. It was proved by engineers that electric systems are more safe than gas boilers. It means that electricity is gaining its popularity. Probably, it will expand on all the spheres where energy is needed.
In my opinion, the success of electricity should be possible for the advantages that it has in comparison to oil. Firstly, generation of electricity has no limits as it is produced from atoms which number is endless. In contrast, the humanity can run out of oil as it is extracted from the reserves of the Earth. Secondly, the usage of electric energy makes all the mechanisms safer as it does not require any fire. A the result, electricity has a smaller impact on global warming since engines heat up less.
To summarise, I believe that electricity is a potential new source of energy that will take place of oil in the future. The main reasons for it are the opportunity to create an edless amount of energy with a help of electricity and the chance to minimise the effect of machines on global warming by making them less hot.
