The world has witnessed an unprecedented spike in aviation patronage in the last ten years. Numerous reasons have orchestrated this trend, which is of significant importance to economic activities worldwide. In my opinion, is very essential for air travel to spike up.
First and foremost, in this modern era, many companies in Europe and America are hiring talented workers from Africa and Asia; beneficially, this approach is helping skilled persons in unemployed economies to attain greener pastures on foreign land. Moreover, aged-populated countries have boosted their workforce with young ones from deprived areas. In addition, the World Aviation Authority recorded a surprise growth in tourism of around 40% last year, these factors have necessitated a tremendous increase in traveling globally.
On top of that, the analysis further revealed that many Africans were in Europe as job seekers. For example, recently the German and Portuguese governments introduced an immigration policy that enables Africans and Asians to enter their territories to search for jobs(opportunity card). However, there are limited employment opportunities in many developing countries and the immigration relaxation policies have brought major relief to youth aiming anxiously to better their lives. Nevertheless, leaders in sub-Sahara Africa have not lived up to expectations, life often remains stagnant until one travels to the Western world.
In conclusion, the appreciation rate of global air travel is very important for Asians and Africans to seek for good and fulfilled life, in exchange, it helps companies in Europe attract efficient human resources. Then also, holiday and business trips have also contributed significantly in boosting the GDP of destination countries.
