Nowadays, there is no demand from people for the live performance such as shows or concerts.Due to technological advancement, watching it on online platforms can replace real entertainments. I completely disagree with that, because no screen can evoke as many emotions as live performances do.
On the one hand, in this technology-driven world, gadgets and internet play vital role in a daily life of people, as it allows them to have access to any kind of content and materials. There are a wide range of videos and performances, including concerts that do not even require any struggle, so it is very comfortable to just watch it everywhere you want. However, despite its comfortability, it cannot give you authentic experience because it is less engaging and it is very easy to get distracted. For instance, If it is a video of concert, you will not be emotionally connected to it and you cannot feel the atmosphere of it, so you get easily distracted. Overall, as it tackles a problem with comfortability, it won’t give you true emotions.
On the other hand, a significant advantages of live performances is its long lasting memories and experience that you get from it. Additionally, it also strengthens social bonds, as it encourages people to face-to-face interactions, so it is effective way to enlarge your contacts and get to know more people. For example, you can make friends or even find a partner there by accident because you are interested in the same things and you are at the same special entertainment. However, it has its own drawbacks such as, overpriced tickets or overcrowded venues which can cause problems, like limited seats. Although, there are some disadvantages like overcrowding or in prices, it provides with benefits from emotional and communicational side.
In conclusion, watching performances online can guarantee you comfortability and access from the any part of the world, but it never will be able to replace attending it, as it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that leaves unforgettable memories in your mind.
