Band 4+: These days, in many countries, fewer and fewer people want to become teachers, particularly in secondary schools. What are the reasons for this, and how could it be solved?

Nowadays, there are increasing concerns about becoming teachers in educational institutions especially, secondary schools. Most individuals reject this offer due to some reasons. This essay will explore several reasons and give the solutions to the issue.

There are several obvious reasons for happening this situation.First of all, teaching is one of the most crucial professions,because it shapes young generation. Nevertheless,they are often underpaid and undervalued. Teachers are compared to other occupations in terms of salary, it is an enormous disparity. For instance, an eminent actor may earn more from a single movie, whereas a school teacher earns it the entire career. Teachers significantly contribute to society. However , their wages are far lower than those of celebrities. This inequality raises questions about justice and priorities in society.

Moreover, current children’s behavior changes dramatically to the negative side compared to previous ones. They do not usually want to obey to their teachers. It caused loss of respect and lack of appreciate teachers.Furthermore, lack of quality of educational facilities reduce talented people to this profession.

There are some solutions to address the issue. Firstly, increasing their wages would not only show respect for their efforts , but also motivate them to perform better again. Moreover, better pay could attract more talented individuals to the profession, which would improve the overall quality of education. When it comes to adolescents’ character, To prevent a similar event from happening, Parents should undertake their own child’s upbringing.

In conclusion, teachers are essential occupation for a developing country.I do not think teachers are paid enough in my country.Many teachers work long hours preparing lessons, grading papers and supporting students beyond the classroom. Their this endeavour deserves well-paid. Moreover, government should allocate more funds to schools. Many schools, especially in rural areas, lack basic facilities like modern technology, libraries and science labs.
