It has become increasingly common these days for the people to migrate to other countries either for educational or professional purpose and to spend a lot of time there. Although, the advantages of improving the financial stability by moving to foreign countries are undeniable, I strongly argue that the footprint it leaves on their loves ones and the home country are overwhelmingly negative.
Those who argue about advantages of moving to different country have a point. People earn significantly huge amount in comparison to their native country, and this is the major reason people tend to move. By earning more, they can improve the standard of living and can send back money to home catering all their family needs. As a result, the families staying back then at homes can lead a comfortable life with all the luxuries.
Despite the above-described positive impact, the drawbacks associated with the people moving to foreign countries are significantly important. Staying away from the family and their loved ones for longer times can be psychologically depressing including losing the closest friendships. Especially, in case of any family emergencies, people could not come back home due to the stringent embassy regulations which is disheartening. In contrast, if we stay close to the families this situation could be avoided. Moreover, with the more people moving to other countries, the local companies and the educational institutions are falling short of the resources. This not only leads to unfilled seats in the universities but also the startup companies not being able to hire the talented employees. This consequence has the detrimental effect on the overall economy of the country which might take many more years to manage this damage.
In conclusion, while I acknowledge the benefits of moving to foreign countries has the monetary prospective, I strongly feel the impact it has on their families and the economy is overwhelmingly negative.
