Artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to change many industry, including education. Although i believe AI can improve education but it cant fully replace humans. In this essay i will explain both the benefit and thedrawbacks of AI in education.
On the one hand, AI can personalize learning experience based on the student needs. By using the learning technique, AI can track student’s progress and adjust the learning materials according to their understanding. This is very useful for a large class, where teachers may not able to give a personal attention to every student. In addition, AI tools can give a immediate feedback for every student, so they might learn and improve faster. AI can also give an access for the high quality education content, such as virtual tutor and interactive simulation especially in remote or less developed areas.
On the other hand, AI has an several limitations in education. Education is not all about sharing the facts and information, but also developing critical thinking skills, creativity, and emotional intelligence for every student. Teacher are important because they can guide, encourage, and giving a emotional support, which AI cant fully support. Morever dependingtoo much on AI, may increase the digital gap, since some student may not access modern technology
in conclusion AI can make education more personalize and accesible but it cant remove human side of teaching. Therefore i believe AI should be support the traditional education rather than replace it completely.
