Advantage And Disadvantage

Band 5+: Today, in many countries, governments are encouraging businesses to move from cities to rural areas. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In many nations, the governments are promoting businesses to relocate from cities to rural areas in this current period. Even though this restricts the growth of cities and lead to the increase in population and by pollution rates in rural areas, I agree that the advantages such as fast development of the locality and job opportunities for local people are significantly more than downsides.

One of the disadvantages is that, when businesses are establishing in village areas, it will increases population and leading to pollution. To be clear, as part of new businesses, there will be more industries and many immigrants come to there for employment. Consequently, population will increase considerably, which will gradually leads to air, water, and soil pollution. Besides, the entrepreneurs will consume natural resources from the area, which is also results to natural disasters. Furthermore, another disadvantage is that, it will demotivates the growth of cities and career opportunities there will be decrease. For instance, recent research shows that the pollution rate increased dramatically in many countryside regions in India in the past few years due to the arrival of new corporations in villages.

On the other hand, the advantages are profound, and major one is in the enhancement of overall facilities and infrastructure of underdeveloped areas by the introduction of startups. Living standard of local residents will gradually rise and can earn enough money through the introduction of businesses. As a result, their financial backgrounds will grow remarkably. Also, more employment possibilities will shoe an upward trend and residents can be employed. As an illustration, there are government funded business schemes are established in different areas in India, which showed an overall growth in economy.

In conclusion, although there are disadvantages which are pollution and static growth of cities, but I believe that the benefits such as better employment platforms and the overall economic enhancements are dominant than disadvantages.
